General Questions

Where is MASHMEOVER Esthetics located?
We're located at 1224 E Katella Ave, Suite 215, Orange, CA 92867. We're conveniently situated in Orange and serve clients throughout Orange County including Anaheim, Tustin, Irvine, Santa Ana, and beyond.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online 24/7 through our booking system, call us at (714) 809-2851, or send us a message through our contact page. We recommend booking at least a few days in advance for availability.
What are your hours?
Our hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 7 PM, and Sunday 9 AM – 7 PM. Please contact us to confirm current hours.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes — our Skin-scription Membership starts at $20/month and includes service discounts, product discounts, priority booking, and a complimentary birthday facial. Learn more on our Memberships page.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. We also offer financing options for larger service packages.

Facial Questions

How often should I get a facial?
We recommend getting a facial every 4–6 weeks. This timing aligns with your skin's natural cell turnover cycle and helps maintain hydration, clarity, and tone consistently.
What does a facial involve?
Every facial at MASHMEOVER begins with a skin consultation to understand your goals and skin type. From there, we customize each step — cleansing, exfoliation, extractions (if needed), masks, serums, and massage — to what your skin needs that day.
Is there downtime after a facial?
Most facials have zero downtime. If we perform deeper extractions or exfoliation, your skin may appear slightly pink for 1–2 hours. We recommend avoiding heavy makeup for 24 hours and using SPF after your treatment.
Do you offer facials for sensitive skin or pregnant clients?
Yes. We offer fully customized facials for sensitive skin and pregnancy-safe options for expecting moms. Always let us know about any health conditions or medications at your appointment.
Can men get facials?
Absolutely. Men benefit greatly from professional facials — especially for clogged pores, ingrown hairs from shaving, and general skin health. We also offer couples facials.

Chemical Peel Questions

What's the difference between a BioRePeel and a regular chemical peel?
BioRePeel uses a 35% TCA biphasic formula that delivers deep resurfacing without visible peeling or downtime. Traditional chemical peels vary in strength and may involve 5–10 days of skin peeling. BioRePeel is ideal for clients who want professional peel results without taking time off.
How many chemical peel sessions do I need?
For most concerns, a series of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart delivers the best results. Single sessions also show visible improvement for skin clarity and texture.
Is there downtime after a chemical peel?
Mild to no downtime for BioRePeel. Traditional peels may involve some skin shedding for a few days. Your esthetician will advise on aftercare at your appointment.

Waxing Questions

How long should my hair be before waxing?
At least ¼ inch — roughly 2–3 weeks of growth from a shave. Hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip. Never shave before your wax appointment.
Does waxing hurt?
There's a quick pulling sensation as the wax is removed, but most clients find it very manageable. The discomfort is brief and fades immediately. Regular waxing makes each subsequent session more comfortable.
Will hair grow back thicker after waxing?
No — waxing removes hair from the root. Over time with consistent waxing, many clients notice hair grows back finer and more sparse.
Can I get waxed while on my period?
Yes, though skin sensitivity is heightened during your period — especially in bikini areas. Let us know and we'll take extra care with your comfort.

Lash & Brow Questions

How long does a lash lift last?
A lash lift typically lasts 6–8 weeks. Results depend on your natural lash growth cycle and how well you follow aftercare instructions.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination restructures your brow hairs to lie flat and uniform, creating the appearance of fuller, more defined brows. Results last 4–6 weeks.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
Wait 24–48 hours before applying mascara after a lash lift. Avoid waterproof mascara as it can dry out the lift.
Are lash lifts safe?
Yes — lash lifts are performed with professional-grade products specifically formulated for delicate lash hairs. Sensitivity is rare but possible. Let your esthetician know about any previous reactions to keratin or perming products.

First-Time Visit Questions

What should I do before my first appointment?
Arrive with clean skin if possible. Avoid wearing heavy makeup or SPF if coming for a facial. Arrive a few minutes early to complete a brief intake form. Come ready to tell your esthetician your skin goals and any products you're currently using.
What should I avoid after my appointment?
Avoid direct sun exposure and SPF-free activities for 24–48 hours. Skip exfoliating products for 3–5 days after a peel or dermaplaning. We'll give you specific aftercare instructions based on your treatment.
Do I need to tip at MASHMEOVER?
